PM Proposes Three Strategic Assurances for Growth at G20 Summit

Johannesburg: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered an important address at the opening ceremony of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 22 in which he proposed three strategic assurances to promote inclusive and sustainable growth and ensure that no one is left behind.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for comprehensive strategies to tackle the challenges facing global economies. His proposal focused on three key areas designed to support economic development and sustainability, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in achieving these goals.

The first assurance proposed by Prime Minister Chinh was to enhance global trade and investment by reducing barriers and fostering an open, fair, and predictable trade environment. This approach aims to enable economies to thrive through mutual cooperation and shared benefits.

The second assurance called for increased investment in digital transformation and innovation. By leveraging technology, the Prime Minister suggested that countries could drive economic growth, improve productivity, and create new opportunities for all sectors of society.

The third assurance emphasized the significance of social protection and welfare programs to ensure that economic growth benefits all individuals. The Prime Minister highlighted the need for policies that support vulnerable populations and promote equitable access to resources and opportunities.
