Paris: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on the French side to share experience and support Vietnam in developing railway industry during his working session with representatives of the French National Railway Company (SNCF) in Paris on June 11 as part of his bilateral activities in France.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of modernizing Vietnam’s railway infrastructure and noted that France’s expertise could be invaluable in achieving this goal. He highlighted the potential for collaboration in various areas, including technology transfer, training of personnel, and development of new railway projects.
The meeting underscored the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France, with both sides expressing a commitment to deepen cooperation in the transport sector. The Prime Minister’s request aligns with Vietnam’s broader strategy to upgrade its transportation network and boost economic growth.
