Hanoi: A preliminary review of the grand military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, coded mission A80, was conducted at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi on August 27. Despite the heavy rain that morning, large crowds gathered along the capital’s major streets, part of the parade route, to witness the event.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the preliminary review served as a crucial rehearsal for the official parade scheduled for September 2. The parade is set to commemorate a significant historical milestone, drawing both local and international attention. As part of the preparations, various military units and civilian groups participated in the review to ensure the precision and coordination required for the final event.
The upcoming official parade is expected to feature a wide array of military hardware and personnel, symbolizing the country’s defense capabilities and honoring the legacy of the August Revolution. The event is not only a display of military strength but also a celebration of national pride and unity.
