Hanoi: The first Congress of the Government’s Party Organisation for the 2025 – 2030 tenure held its preparatory meeting under the chair of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Chinh, who is also a Politburo member and Secretary of the Government’s Party Committee, led the session on the morning of October 12. The congress sees participation from 453 delegates representing over 209,000 members from 2,211 Party units within the Government’s Party Organisation.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the preparatory meeting is a significant step in organizing the upcoming congress, which aims to set the direction for the Government’s Party Organisation over the next five years. The involvement of a large number of delegates underscores the importance of the congress in shaping future policies and strategies. The meeting is expected to address key issues and guidelines that will be pivotal in the forthcoming tenure.
