Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong on October 23 inspected preparations and chaired the rehearsal for the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, known as the Hanoi Convention. The event is scheduled to take place from October 25-26, 2025, at the National Convention Center in My Dinh, Hanoi.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the rehearsal aimed to ensure that all arrangements are in place for the upcoming international event. The Hanoi Convention represents a significant global effort to combat cybercrime, and the signing ceremony is expected to draw attention from numerous participating countries. The meticulous preparation by President Luong Cuong and his team underscores the importance of this international agreement and Vietnam’s role in facilitating its implementation.
