Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong on December 1 hosted a state banquet in honour of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and the high-ranking delegation of Brunei on their state visit to Vietnam from November 30 to December 2. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was also in attendance.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet was part of a series of events planned during the Brunei delegation’s visit, aimed at strengthening the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Brunei. The engagement underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

The visit by Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah is expected to pave the way for discussions on economic collaboration, cultural exchanges, and other areas of mutual interest. The state visit highlights the ongoing efforts of both countries to foster a stronger partnership moving forward.
