Hanoi: Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong met with General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith in Hanoi on April 28. The meeting marks a significant moment in strengthening the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Laos.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Thongloun Sisoulith is in Vietnam to attend an inauguration ceremony of Wharf No. 3 of the Laos-Vietnam International Seaport in Vung Ang Economic Zone, located in the central province of Ha Tinh. This event is expected to bolster economic ties and enhance regional connectivity between the two neighboring countries.
