Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on May 25 for Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), President of the National Council of the Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodia Motherland (SFDCM), and Chairwoman of the Cambodia – Vietnam Friendship Association, who is in Vietnam to attend the State funeral held for former State President Tran Duc Luong.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscores the ongoing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia. Men Sam An’s visit highlights the mutual respect and solidarity shared by the two countries. The Cambodian official’s presence at the State funeral signifies the deep ties and historical friendship between the nations, further solidifying their commitment to cooperation and development in various sectors.
