Prime Minister Chairs Online Meeting to Direct Rescue and Relief Efforts in Central Region

Algiers: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, head of the National Civil Defence Steering Committee, chaired an online meeting at 4:00 p.m. on November 20, 2025, Algiers time (22:00 p.m. Hanoi time) in Algeria with provinces and cities in Vietnam that are heavily affected by natural disasters and floods to deploy rescue and relief plans.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on coordinating efforts between various regions in Vietnam to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of recent floods and natural disasters. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of swift and efficient response strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of affected communities.

The online meeting brought together key officials from the most impacted areas, allowing them to relay real-time information and updates on the ground situation. The Prime Minister urged local authorities to prioritize the evacuation of vulnerable populations and ensure that relief supplies are distributed promptly and equitably.
