Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse hosted a ceremony in Hanoi on March 26 to welcome Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his spouse, who are on an official visit to Vietnam from March 25-26.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit is expected to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and Singapore, focusing on cooperation in various sectors. The two leaders are anticipated to discuss mutual interests and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, and cultural exchange during the visit.

The welcome ceremony marked the beginning of a series of engagements aimed at reinforcing the longstanding partnership between the two countries. Both leaders expressed optimism about the outcomes of this official visit and reiterated their commitment to deepening ties for mutual benefit.
