Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on March 1, 2026, inspected and encouraged workers at component projects of the Eastern North-South Expressway, including the Quang Ngai-Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon-Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh, and Chi Thanh-Van Phong sections. He also checked the progress of the construction of Runway No.2 at Phu Cat Airport.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister's visit focused on assessing the ongoing work and motivating the workforce involved in these critical infrastructure projects. The Eastern North-South Expressway is a significant development in the region, aimed at enhancing connectivity and promoting economic growth.
