Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse had a meeting in Kuala Lumpur on May 25 morning with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia and the Vietnamese community in the country, as part of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Malaysia and attendance at the 46th ASEAN Summit and related high-level meetings.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting served as an opportunity for the Prime Minister to engage with Vietnamese citizens residing in Malaysia, discussing their experiences and challenges. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties between the Vietnamese community abroad and the homeland.

The visit to Malaysia is part of a broader diplomatic initiative to strengthen relationships within the ASEAN region, with the 46th ASEAN Summit providing a platform for high-level discussions on regional cooperation and development.
