Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the 19th meeting of the State Steering Committee for National Key Transport Projects on July 31, urging ministries, sectors, and localities to accelerate efforts to complete 3,000 km of expressways by the end of 2025. The meeting, held both in-person and online with participation from 26 provinces and cities, emphasized the strategic importance of 2025 as a milestone year, featuring major national anniversaries and serving as a key period for achieving the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Chinh described the completion of the expressways as a ‘mission of the heart,’ highlighting the crucial role it plays in national development. He called on relevant entities to expedite their efforts and take bold actions to ensure the task is completed by 2025, underscoring the project’s significance in aligning with national priorities and long-term planning.
