Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called for closer cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Russian news agency TASS while receiving TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov in Hanoi on February 25.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties in the field of information and communication. He highlighted the role of both news agencies in enhancing mutual understanding and promoting the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss ways to facilitate the exchange of information and experiences between the two agencies. The Prime Minister also underscored the significance of timely and accurate news dissemination in fostering a comprehensive partnership between the two nations.
