Quang Ngai Commemorates Victims of Son My Massacre

Quang Ngai: A solemn incense offering ceremony was held at the Son My Memorial Site in Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai city, in the central province of Quang Ngai, to mark the 57th anniversary of the tragic massacre of 504 civilians in Son My (March 16, 1968 – 2025).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony served as a moment of reflection for the community and the nation, remembering the lives lost during one of the most harrowing events in the region’s history. The event was attended by local officials, residents, and visitors who gathered to pay their respects.
