Quang Ngai Doctors Transfer Pediatric Anesthesia Techniques to Lao Counterparts

Quang ngai: Doctors from Quang Ngai 2 General Hospital in the central province of Quang Ngai will provide training and transfer pediatric anesthesia techniques to colleagues from Attapeu provincial Hospital in Laos. Under the three-month programme, Vietnamese specialists will provide hands-on instruction and technology transfer to Viengkhon Manivong and other doctors from Attapeu. Once the Lao doctors master the procedures, the Quang Ngai team will travel to Attapeu to complete the transfer and give on-site guidance.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative aims to enhance medical cooperation and improve healthcare services in the region. The programme will focus on building the capacity of Lao medical professionals in pediatric anesthesia, a critical area in patient care. The collaboration is expected to strengthen ties between the two hospitals and contribute to the overall development of the healthcare system in Attapeu.

The training involves a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip the Attapeu doctors with the necessary skills and knowledge. The Vietnamese team will conduct workshops, practical sessions, and evaluations to ensure the effective transfer of techniques. This collaboration reflects the ongoing efforts to foster medical partnerships and share expertise across borders. The successful completion of the programme is anticipated to lead to further joint initiatives in the future.
