Quang Ninh, Northern Lao Provinces Deepen Cooperation for 2026-2030

Xaynhabouly: Quang Ninh province and three northern Lao provinces - Xaynhabouly, Luang Prabang, and Houaphan - have held a conference in Xaynhabouly province of Laos to review the outcomes of their five-year cooperation programme for 2022-2026 and outlined orientations for collaboration in the 2026-2030 period. At the conference, the four provinces signed the minutes of conference, creating an important framework for expanding cooperation in politics, socio-economic development, trade and tourism, and further strengthening the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos. According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference served as a platform for the provinces to evaluate the achievements of their previous cooperation efforts and to set clear objectives for the coming years. The signed minutes of the conference highlight the commitment of the provinces to work together on multiple fronts, ensuring mutual growth and development. The agreement between the provinces aims to build on the existing relationship, foc using on areas that have proven beneficial over the past years. The collaboration seeks to enhance political ties, boost socio-economic initiatives, and increase trade and tourism between the regions. The partnership is also expected to contribute to the overall strengthening of the Vietnam-Laos friendship.
