Quang tri: The People’s Committee of Dakrong commune in the central province of Quang Tri, in coordination with the Dakrong Forest Protection Station, has transferred a small-clawed otter to the Cuc Phuong National Park and the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Vietnam. The handover took place on February 26, and aims to provide the otter with further care and rehabilitation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the otter, which weighs just over 400 grams, is currently in stable health. Plans are in place for the otter to be raised and cared for at the facility, with the ultimate goal of releasing it back into the wild once it is ready.
