Search and Recovery Campaign for Fallen Soldiers Launched in Dong Nai

Dong nai: The Military Region 7 and Dong Nai city steering committees have initiated a mission to search for and recover the remains of fallen soldiers in Minh Duc commune. This mission was launched during a ceremony attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative is part of a nationwide '500-day-and-night campaign' aimed at accelerating the search and identification of fallen soldiers. In Dong Nai, the campaign has already led to the recovery of more than 100 sets of remains. Additionally, DNA samples have been collected from over 5,000 martyrs' graves as part of the identification efforts.
