Bishkek: The Vietnamese Embassy in Tanzania has held a ceremony in Dar es Salaam to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2) and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Ethiopia diplomatic relations (1976-2026), reaffirming commitment to strengthening ties with countries in East Africa.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event served as a platform to explore President Ho Chi Minh's thought and its relevance in fostering Vietnam's collaboration with East African nations. The seminar underscored the historical significance of Vietnam's diplomatic relations with East Africa and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in various fields.
