Seminar Highlights Vietnam-RoK Business Cooperation Opportunities in Hai Phong

Hai Phong: Hai Phong is committed to facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in pursuing long-term, effective, and sustainable operations locally, Permanent Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Anh Quan stated at a seminar held on May 20 to discuss opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese and Korean firms operating in the northern port city.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the seminar focused on strengthening the business cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Hai Phong. Discussions centered on the city’s strategic initiatives to attract more FDI by creating a conducive environment for both Vietnamese and Korean enterprises.

The seminar provided a platform for business leaders and government officials to exchange insights on potential cooperation avenues, as well as address any challenges faced by businesses operating in the region. Participants underscored the importance of collaboration in several sectors, including manufacturing, technology, and logistics, to boost economic growth in Hai Phong.

The event highlighted the city’s commitment to supporting foreign investors and emphasized the potential for enhanced bilateral trade relations. Both Vietnamese and Korean companies were encouraged to explore new opportunities, ensuring mutual benefits and sustainable development.
