Phu tho: Nestled in the lush green Muong Bi commune in the northern province of Phu Tho lies Luy Ai village-a haven preserving the cultural heritage of the Muong ethnic minority people. This village, some 100 km from central Ha Noi, is a repository of traditional stilt houses, customs, and cultural practices that have been passed down through generations. Recognised as a representative Muong traditional village by the culture ministry since 2008, Luy Ai serves as a window into the past. According to Vietnam News Agency, visitors to Luy Ai are greeted by the flow of a clear stream at the village entrance. Moss-covered stilt houses emerge, set against a backdrop of bamboo groves, fruit trees, and terraced fields.
