Singapore: Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and his spouse chaired a banquet in honour of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of Vietnam To Lam and his spouse on May 29 in Singapore, as part of the latter's state visit to the country.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet aimed to strengthen diplomatic relations between Singapore and Vietnam.
