Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked Makara Capital Partners to promptly make investment decisions and expand operations in Vietnam, particularly in priority sectors, in the spirit of ‘working together, benefiting together, winning together, and sharing joy and happiness.’ He made the request at a reception in Hanoi on July 2 for Chairman and CEO Ali Ijaz Ahmad and other senior executives of the Singapore-based group, who are exploring investment opportunities in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration between Vietnam and Makara Capital Partners in driving economic growth and development. He highlighted the potential benefits of investing in sectors that are prioritized by the Vietnamese government, which could lead to mutual gains for both parties involved. The meeting underscored Vietnam’s commitment to welcoming foreign investors and fostering a conducive environment for their operations.

Prime Minister Chinh’s call for investment from Makara Capital Partners aligns with Vietnam’s broader strategy to attract international investment in key sectors. The government has been actively seeking partnerships with global investors to bolster its economic progress and enhance its competitive edge in the region.
