Most recently, Pha Muang Task Force soldiers clashed with a drug smuggling group on the Chiang Mai border, seizing more than 300,000 methamphetamine pills. The clash occurred early this morning while soldiers from the Chaiya Nuphap Task Force, Pha Muang Task Force, were patrolling and found a group smuggling drugs into the Ban Nor Lae area, Mon Pin Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, before the drug smugglers retreated, leaving behind 3 modified sacks containing a total of more than 300,000 methamphetamine pills.
Gen. Narit Thawornwong, commander of the Narcotics Suppression Command, has ordered an increase in the suppression of drug smuggling via the logistics system, after finding that some dealers have opened a front for transporting goods and smuggling drugs v
