Spouses of Vietnamese, Japanese PMs Explore Ethnic Groups’ Cultures

Hanoi: Le Thi Bich Tran, spouse of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Ishiba Yoshiko, spouse of visiting Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, made a tour of the Vietnam National Ethnic Village for Culture and Tourism in Son Tay town in the outskirts of Hanoi on April 28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aimed to promote cultural exchange and understanding between the two nations. The Vietnam National Ethnic Village for Culture and Tourism showcases the diverse cultural heritage of various ethnic groups in Vietnam. The spouses’ tour included various traditional activities and exhibits that highlight the rich cultural traditions of Vietnam’s ethnic communities.

The visit was part of a broader diplomatic initiative to strengthen ties between Vietnam and Japan. During their tour, Le Thi Bich Tran and Ishiba Yoshiko interacted with representatives of different ethnic groups and learned about their unique customs and traditions. This engagement underscores the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering international relations.
