Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and his spouse hosted a state banquet in Hanoi on January 26 evening in honour of General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, his spouse, and a high-ranking delegation of the Lao Party and State, who are on a state visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet was organized as part of the official state visit by the Lao delegation to Vietnam. The event was attended by several high-ranking officials from both countries, highlighting the strong bilateral ties between Vietnam and Laos. The visit and the banquet underscore the continued commitment of both nations to strengthen their relations and cooperation in various domains.
