State President Appoints New Ambassadors Abroad

Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong on January 16 presented decisions appointing Vietnamese ambassadors to overseas postings for the 2025-2028 tenure. At the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace, the President congratulated 16 newly appointed ambassadors and heads of Vietnamese representative missions abroad, describing the appointments as both recognition and praise for their dedication and contributions during their careers, while also constituting a great honour and responsibility entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony underscored the importance of the ambassadors' roles in strengthening Vietnam's international relations and enhancing diplomatic efforts globally. The President emphasized that the newly appointed ambassadors are expected to uphold the country's interests and foster cooperation with other nations. The appointees expressed their commitment to fulfilling their duties and contributing to the country's diplomatic objectives during their tenure.
