Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong and his spouse chaired an official welcome ceremony for King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan at the Presidential Palace, Hanoi on August 19 morning. The Bhutanese King and Queen are on a State visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony marked the beginning of the royal couple’s visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and Bhutan. The visit underscores the growing diplomatic and cultural ties between the two countries.
