State President Hosts Banquet for International Delegations Attending Reunification Anniversary

Ho Chi Minh City: State President Luong Cuong on April 29 evening hosted a state banquet in Ho Chi Minh City for the heads of international delegations and political parties visiting Vietnam to attend the grand ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025). Among the distinguished guests were General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Cambodian People’s Party and President of the Cambodian Senate Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and Vice President of Cuba Salvador Vald©s Mesa.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet was an occasion to strengthen diplomatic ties and celebrate Vietnam’s significant historical milestone with global partners. The event underscored Vietnam’s commitment to fostering international relationships and commemorating its historical achievements with countries that have been supportive allies over the years.
