Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong hosted a reception in Hanoi for Prosecutor General of Russia Alexander Vladimirovich Gutsan. Gutsan is visiting Vietnam to attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, also known as the Hanoi Convention.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in legal and judicial matters, particularly in addressing cybercrime. The visit highlights the commitment of both nations to collaborate on international cybersecurity efforts. The Hanoi Convention aims to establish a comprehensive framework for combating cybercrime globally, and the presence of high-ranking officials such as Gutsan underscores the importance of this international agreement.
