Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong and a high-level delegation of Vietnam departed Hanoi on the afternoon of April 24 for a two-day state visit to Laos. The visit is being made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President Thongloun Sisoulith.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Laos. During the visit, President Luong Cuong is expected to engage in high-level discussions with his Laotian counterpart and other senior officials, focusing on enhancing cooperation in various sectors.
The agenda for the visit includes meetings with key government officials where topics such as trade, investment, and cultural exchanges are likely to be discussed.
