Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong received Lieut. Gen. Vongsone Inpanphim, Deputy Minister of Defence and Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Lao People’s Army (LPA), in Hanoi on August 11. The meeting is part of the official visit of the Lao delegation to Vietnam.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit underscores the ongoing cooperation and strong ties between Vietnam and Laos in the defense sector. The leaders discussed various aspects of military collaboration and mutual interests, aiming to enhance the strategic partnership between the two nations.
