State President Participates in Launch of New Container Terminals in Hai Phong

Hai Phong: State President Luong Cuong attended a ceremony to inaugurate Lach Huyen International Container Terminals No.3 and No.4 at the Port of Hai Phong in the northern city of Hai Phong. The inauguration took place on May 13 and was part of the celebrations marking Hai Phong’s 70th Liberation Day and the 30th anniversary of the Vietnam Maritime Cooperation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the newly inaugurated terminals are expected to enhance the port’s capacity and contribute to regional trade development. The expansion aligns with Hai Phong’s strategic goals to become a central maritime hub in the region. The terminals are set to play a key role in accommodating larger vessels and increasing the throughput of goods, thereby boosting the local economy.
