Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong attended and delivered a keynote speech at a ceremony marking the 80th traditional day of the armed forces of Military Region 3. During the event, held on October 28, President Cuong highlighted the importance of building a modern and elite military force. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, he awarded the First-class Fatherland Protection Order to the region’s armed forces for their notable achievements in various military domains.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the First-class Fatherland Protection Order was presented in recognition of Military Region 3’s exemplary performance in training, maintaining combat readiness, building the armed forces, and consolidating national defense. These efforts have been a significant contribution to the country’s security and stability, reflecting the armed forces’ dedication and commitment to national duty.
