Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong on June 9 expressed his support for enhanced cooperation between the European Union (EU) and Vietnam in various key sectors. During a meeting with EU Ambassador Julien Guerrier and ambassadors and charg©s d’affaires from EU member states in Hanoi, President Cuong emphasized the importance of collaboration in green and digital transition, sustainable development, science-technology, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
According to Vietnam News Agency, President Cuong urged both parties to work closely to strengthen ties in a manner that is equal and mutually beneficial. He highlighted the need for enhanced all-level delegation exchanges to build political trust, which is essential for driving cooperation across all areas. The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Vietnam and the EU to advancing shared goals and addressing global challenges through strategic cooperation.
