Te Tieu Traditional Puppet Performance Attracts Locals and Tourists in Hanoi


Hanoi: On February 18, 2026 (the second day of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo), a traditional puppet performance by the Te Tieu puppet guild was held at Ho Van Space, part of the Special National Relic Site of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi, attracting a large number of residents and visitors.



According to Vietnam News Agency, the event showcased the cultural heritage of the Te Tieu puppet guild, drawing significant attention from both locals and tourists. The performance, set against the historic backdrop of the Temple of Literature, highlighted the rich traditions of Vietnamese puppet artistry.



The Te Tieu puppet guild is known for its intricate puppet designs and storytelling techniques, which have been passed down through generations.
