Hanoi: The northern province of Thai Binh is striving to eliminate all temporary and dilapidated houses by June 30, 90 days ahead of its initial schedule. Local authorities are mobilising resources to accelerate home construction and renovation for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged families eligible for government support.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the province’s “300 days of joint effort to eliminate substandard housing” campaign has driven significant progress. The initiative focuses on providing adequate housing solutions and improving living conditions for vulnerable groups. The provincial government has engaged various stakeholders, including businesses and community organizations, to support the campaign and ensure its success.

Efforts are being made to streamline processes and increase efficiency in construction and renovation projects. This includes allocating sufficient funds, deploying skilled labor, and utilizing modern building techniques to meet the set deadline. The campaign underscores the province’s commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents and addressing housing issues proactively.
