Accra:Thai Nguyen The northern province of Thai Nguyen is making strides in promoting green and sustainable tourism by enhancing local cultural experiences, improving the quality of tourism products, and expanding its international markets. The province aims to become an attractive destination for foreign visitors through these initiatives.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Thai Nguyen boasts a wide array of tourism resources, which include natural landscapes, ethnic cultures, revolutionary and historical heritage, traditional craft villages, agriculture, and cuisine. These elements are integral to the province's strategy to lure more international travelers.

In the first nine months of 2026, Thai Nguyen received an estimated 7.3 million visitors, marking a 15.4% increase compared to the previous year. International arrivals surpassed 301,000, reflecting a rise of 24.8%, highlighting the province's growing appeal to foreign tourists.
