The clues to the second gold robbery at a famous department store in Thung Song have been identified.

Police have found clues about a lone robber who robbed gold in a shopping mall in Thung Song for the second time. The Superintendent of Thung Song Police Station revealed that the previous robber was arrested, who was a Burmese national, but the second time, it was a different person. They are urgently tracking him down.

In the case of the perpetrator, a strong man wearing black clothing covering his face, wearing a hood to conceal and carrying a backpack in front, breaking in alone and using an unknown gun to shoot at the gold cabinet at Yaowarat Bangkok gold shop inside Tesco Lotus, Thung Song branch, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province on the evening of August 24, 2014, sweeping away some gold jewelry before fleeing by throwing a fake bomb to intimidate shoppers, amidst the shock of the gold shop staff and shoppers in the mall who had to run away in all directions. At the time, the gold shop was preparing to close. In addition, bloodstains of the perpetrator were found, which is believed to have come from the g
lass of the baht gold cabinet. The police officers have collected blood samples to test for DNA.

Pol. Col. Thirawat Thepluean, Superintendent of Thung Song Police Station, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, immediately led a team of patrol and detectives to the area to collect additional evidence, including questioning employees and witnesses who saw the incident. He ordered officers to urgently hunt down the perpetrators, but there were still no signs. He ordered the detectives to urgently check CCTV cameras at various points in the mall and other areas outside where the perpetrators escaped to find clues to track down and arrest the perpetrators. Most recently, the police have a clue about the perpetrators, but they cannot disclose it yet because they are concerned that it will jeopardize the case and the perpetrators may become aware.
