Court sets verdict for quack doctor case on 9 Oct., grants temporary release, 60,000 baht bail

In the case of the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Investigation Division arresting Mr. Thanaboon, aged 55, after he illegally opened a clinic in the Pratunam area without permission, on charges of being a person practicing medicine without permission according to the Medical Profession Act of 1982 at 3:00 p.m. on September 6.

This morning, the Phaya Thai Police Station brought Mr. Thanaboon, aged 55, to file a lawsuit with the Dusit District Court. The court recently ordered an investigation and set a date for the verdict on October 9, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.

While the defendant was granted temporary release by posting 60,000 baht in cash as bail.
