Itthiphon", chairman of the Election Commission, urged the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) to elect the president of the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization on 1 Sept. to work carefully and prepare a contingency plan to cope with the rainstorm. Mr. Ittiporn Boonprakong, Chairman of the Election Commission, observed the training of Polling Unit Committee members (PMC) for the election of the President of the Provincial Administrative Organization of Ratchaburi, which will be held this Sunday (1 September). The training took place from 26-30 August, with a total of 8,043 polling unit committee members from 1,149 units, to provide them with knowledge and understanding of the work procedures and election processes, so that they can perform their duties correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with the law. Mr. Itthiphon expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the polling station committee, saying that they are the key to the success of every past election. He also gave advice on org anizing polling stations, asking them to be careful, work with determination and focus, and to prepare a contingency plan to handle storms Source: Thai News Agency
