The Royal Thai Air Force supports a transport aircraft to bring MEA volunteers to the flood victims in Chiang Rai Province. On October 3, Air Chief Marshal Narat Boonprasert, Director-General of the Department of Civil Affairs of the Royal Thai Air Force, welcomed Ms. Nipa Thamboworn, Assistant Governor, and Ms. Chanphen Siri, Assistant Governor of MEA or the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, along with MEA volunteers and electricians from the Electrical Division, Department of Civil Engineering of the Royal Thai Air Force, to travel to help and rehabilitate flood victims in Chiang Rai Province to build confidence by improving the electrical system and replacing electrical equipment for people in the area for safety during October 4-7, 2024, with support from the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) in traveling with a C-130 transport aircraft and transport vehicles to enter the work area, supported by the Border Patrol Police (BPP) at the Military Airport 2, Wing 6.
