Timor-Leste PM Begins Official Visit to Vietnam

Hanoi: Timor-Leste Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmo arrived in Hanoi on June 7 afternoon, marking the start of his official visit to Vietnam. He will also participate in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum from June 7 to 10, following an invitation from Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung. This visit is significant for Timor-Leste's integration as a newly admitted member of ASEAN and for the development of the ASEAN Community.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Gusmo's visit underscores the strengthening ties between Timor-Leste and Vietnam and highlights the growing importance of regional cooperation in Southeast Asia. The ASEAN Future Forum serves as an important platform for discussing the region's future, with a focus on collaboration and community building among member nations.
