Top Leader Arrives in Udon Thani, Beginning Official Visit to Thailand

Udon thani: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam, accompanied by his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, arrived in Udon Thani on May 27 for a three-day official visit to Thailand at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and Thailand, focusing on cooperation in various sectors. The Vietnamese delegation is expected to engage in discussions with Thai officials to enhance collaboration in trade, investment, and cultural exchange. The visit is also seen as an opportunity to affirm the longstanding relationship between the two nations.

During the visit, To Lam will participate in several meetings with Thai leaders and attend events showcasing Vietnamese culture and business opportunities. The delegation's agenda includes visits to local communities and institutions, highlighting the importance of people-to-people connections in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
