Top Leader Calls for Enhanced Technical Services to Protect National Security

Hanoi: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on July 6 requested the Ministry of Public Security's technical services force to become a highly disciplined, loyal, and people-oriented corps of top science and technology experts capable of meeting increasingly complex security challenges. The top leader made the remarks during a working session with officers of the Department of Technical Services under the Ministry of Public Security, stressing that the country's history of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order has underscored the strategic importance of technical services.

According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam emphasized the need for the technical services force to enhance their capabilities in scientific and technological fields. He asserted that the evolving nature of security threats requires a force that is not only technically proficient but also adaptable to new challenges.
