General Secretary and State President Lam praised the force's outstanding achievements, stressing that Vietnam's rapid and sustainable development requires a strong national defence, with the artillery-missile force serving as a key pillar of combat power.
According to Vietnam News Agency, during the ceremony, Lam highlighted the importance of technological advancements and strategic planning to ensure the artillery-missile force remains capable of addressing emerging security challenges. He emphasized that enhancing the capabilities of this force is crucial for safeguarding national sovereignty and supporting the country's broader development goals.
The ceremony also served as a platform to reflect on the historical contributions of the artillery-missile force over the past eight decades. Lam acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of the personnel who have been instrumental in the force's development since its inception.
