Top Leader Emphasizes Reform for High-Quality Security Workforce

Hanoi: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on June 22 urged the People's Security Academy to initiate a comprehensive overhaul of educational practices aimed at developing a high-quality security workforce. This workforce should be capable of addressing national security demands in the current era. The address was delivered during a ceremony in Hanoi celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Security Academy's founding, as well as the receipt of its third Hero of the People's Armed Forces title.

According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam emphasized the importance of the academy taking a pioneering role in preparing personnel with both professional skills and advanced digital capabilities. The reform in educational thinking, methods, and content is seen as crucial to meeting the evolving security challenges facing the nation. The initiative aims to enhance the academy's contribution to national security by ensuring its graduates are well-equipped to handle contemporary threats.
