Hanoi: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on August 5 for outgoing Malaysian ambassador to Vietnam, Dato' Tan Yang Thai.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to reflect on the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Malaysia. The visit by Ambassador Dato' Tan Yang Thai marked the conclusion of his tenure in Vietnam, during which he played a significant role in fostering bilateral relations between the two nations.
