Top Legislator Receives Governor of Japan’s Nara Prefecture in Tokyo.

Tokyo: Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man received Governor of Japan’s Nara prefecture Yamashita Makoto in Tokyo on December 4, within the framework of his official visit to Japan. Congratulating the Governor of Nara on signing a cooperation agreement with the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, which coincides with the recognition of it as one of the six centrally-run cities of Vietnam, Man emphasised that the agreement will create opportunities for the two localities to exchange and learn from each other’s experiences in socio-economic development, as well as other areas.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between Vietnam and Japan through such bilateral agreements. The cooperation agreement is expected to facilitate various developmental programs and initiatives, fostering a mutual understanding and collaboration in multiple sectors.

owards enhancing cultural, educational, and economic exchanges. Both regions are anticipated to benefit from shared knowledge and expertise, which could lead to innovative solutions to common challenges faced in their respective areas.
